Popularize Mathematics with Crystallography Batik and Batima

This paper shows efforts to popularize mathematics through batik culture in Indonesia. There are 2 classifications of batik used here, i.e. batik whose motif follows the symmetry of crystallography, and batik with motifs designed from algebraic surfaces called Batik Innovation of Mathematics (Batima). Crystallography motifs are made from 1 design as a motif and it can be generated into several motifs designed from one stamp batik. While the Batima motif is made from algebraic equations. This paper only shows a few examples of Batima with algebraic equations made in stamps batik. Some derivative products such as bags, masks, accessories, and key chains can also be made. In order for this batik to become part of the popularization of mathematics, promotional efforts are carried out using various existing promotional media. The promotion has been carried out since 2019 by creating blogs, exhibitions, and existing social media such as YouTube, web, shop marketplace, following competitions, and presenting at conferences. In 2023, the university has collaborated with a home industry called Nilo Tirto to develop varied motif designs and be produced on a limited scale. Furthermore, promotion and branding efforts for crystallographic batik and mathematical innovation batik products can be carried out in a sustainable manner.

Human Resources Quality on Competitiveness Enhancement

Human resources are an important aspect in terms of economic activities. Further, in any activities in general, high quality human resources can result in many positive and impactful outcomes. Competitiveness is built on many aspects, and human resources play an important role in terms of competitiveness, due to the fact that human resources contribute to knowledge, innovation and technology development. Competitiveness is also related to economic growth and quality of life, nations with high competitiveness index, tend to have contribute on social welfare in general. According to this, it’s important to high and recall the contribution of human resources in this process. Using qualitative method of literature review approach, this paper will describe the importance of high-quality human resources in term of competitiveness, using empirical evidence and research as its main sources of data, deductive reasoning employed in this paper will provide conclusions and possible improvements for future research. The result of this paper indicates that high quality human resources were developed through education aspect, whether its formal or informal, education contribute toward knowledge and innovation, which are embodied by high quality human resources. Through this human resource will have the capability of having high productivity and maximize the use resources to achieve competitiveness in general.

Business Revenue Enhancement Through Micro Credit (Case Study on MSME at Cimahi Keripik Pojok Center)

This research conducted to identify the Implementation of Micro Credit Distribution in enhancing business earning on Cimahi Micro Enterprise Actors (Case study on Cimahi Keripik Pojok Center) and its constraining factors. The method used in this research is qualitative method which is a research procedure producing descriptive data in written words or verbal from observed people and behaviour. Theoretical background from this qualitative research basically focuses on the phenomenology and finding out the meaning of research. The data processing uses data triangulation technique through comparison of theory which is a technique of data processing that compares collected data with the theory used as theoretical basis. According to the research shows that credit requirement to bank expresses emphasize on business sustainability, more than 2 years long of business, financial literacy and 5C aspects: Character, Capital, Capacity, Collateral, and Condition. From the five aspects, what is called Collateral or guarantee is seen as a burden and financial literacy related to the consistency of bookkeeping, cash flow and financial ratio. In fact, information from bank is not a guaranteed fixed asset, but the operating income is and it allows credit loan to develop business to improve revenue. It is advisable that banks optimize their socialization of programs partnering with local government thus the people could comprehend the intention and aim of distributed credit or budget.

Strategic Management Of Modern Islamic Boarding Schools In Realizing Global Competitiveness (Case Study at the Assalafi Ciwaringin Islamic Boarding School, Bina Insan Mulia Dukupuntang, and Al Bahjah Cirebon)

The global competitiveness of Islamic boarding schools as the oldest Islamic educational institution in Indonesia is still low because they have not implemented management as a whole. This study generally aims to describe and analyze the strategic management of modern pesantren in realizing global competitiveness and specifically to describe and analyze: Environmental Analysis, Strategic Formulation, Strategic Implementation, Strategic Evaluation, Obstacles, and Global Competitiveness. Strategic Formulation, Strategic Implementation, Strategic Evaluation, Obstacles, and  Solutions. The research approach used is qualitative, with a case study method. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, documentation studies and triangulation. The theories that support this research are strategic management theory, modern pesantren theory, and global competitiveness theory. The results showed that specifically the strategic management of modern pesantren in realizing global competitiveness, namely: Strategic environment analysis begins by using SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat), to analyze strength, weakness, opportunity and threat factors. Strategic formulation of modern pesantren in realizing global competitiveness is carried out by formulating the vision, mission, goals, quality objectives of pesantren, strategies and policies. Strategic implementation of modern pesantren in realizing global competitiveness is contained in the 8 SNP development program, budget and procedures. Organizational Culture and Organizational Commitment In Junior High School Teachers

 Objective: The objective of this research is to define the connection among secondary school teachers, structural commitment, and organizational commitment of educational institutions. Method: The study process used was quantitative, with a total of 65 teachers in a secondary school. The data collection technique used the Organizational Commitment Scale prepared by the research team and the organizational culture scale. The data analysis technique uses the correlation of the moment of the product. It is a quantitative method that uses quantitative methods, data collection, analysis, and interpretation of data, statistics, and numbers. Result: The results of this study show a significant relationship between the dimensions of organizational culture and staff productivity, preaching through the dimensions of organizational culture and organizational commitment. The marks of the study of the data carried out are worth a rate of 0.000 (0.05 >), which means the connection among organizational culture and organizational commitment. Conclusion: This study is limited to organizational culture variables, while many other factors influence organizational engagement and should be analyzed further. The correlation coefficient shows a value of 0.733, represents the category of a solid relationship of proximity and a direction of positive relationship, which shows that when the organizational culture is reinforced, the organizational commitment of the teacher will increase..

Management Of Competency Test For Computer And Network Engineering Skills In Improving The Quality Of Graduates (Case Study At Qurrota A’yun Vocational School, Al Farisi Vocational School, And Maarif Vocational School In Garut Regency)

 This research is motivated by the policy of implementing the Expertise Competency Test for Computer and Network Engineering majors (UKK TKJ) at Vocational High Schools but graduates are less recruited by business and industry. The purpose of this study is to uncover and discuss the management of UKK TKJ in the aspect of (1) Planning, (2) Organizing, (3) Implementation, (4) Evaluation, (5) Obstacles, (6) Solutions, and (7) Graduate Quality. The theories used are G.R.Terry’s management and Joseph Juran’s quality. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. The technique of data collection used by observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results of the study revealed: (1) Planning includes of the MoU drafting, preparing the committee, arranging external and internal examiners, verifying UKK participants, designing schedules, and preparing question packages; (2) Organizing includes assigning internal assessors, establishing partnership with external institution, and preparing competency test sites; (3) Implementation includes performance of the work and written tests, measuring the competence of assessees, making assessment decisions, and reporting; (4) Evaluating is carried out by the principal as the program manager, the Head of the TKJ program as the chief executive, and the partner institution as the UKK assessor; (5) Constraints occur in the imbalance of the ratio of examiners to participants, and the limitations of external partnerships that are still limited to assessor personnel; (6) The solutions include integrated of curriculum cooperation and exam preparation standards; (7) The quality of graduates has met the competency standards, but there has not fully met the competency standards of industry needed. .

Accreditation Management Of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (Man) For Enhancing The Performance (A Case Study At Man Katingan, Man Kapuas, And Man Kotawaringin Timur)Author

   Madrasah accreditation management to improve the quality of education provided by educational institutions and provide trust to parents and the general public. By undergoing a suitable accreditation process, madrasas can measure their achievements and continue to improve the quality of the education they provide. Problems that arise from the implementation of accreditation at the state madrasah aliyah (MAN) level include: there are still many madrasas that have not been accredited and have not reached the minimum standards formulated in the 2020-2024 Islamic Education Strategic Plan. This research aims to obtain information and analyze management planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating problems, solutions and performance of madrasah accreditation in improving performance at MAN Katingan, MAN Kapuas and MAN Kotawaringin Timur. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study method. Research techniques are interviews, observation, documentation studies and triangulation. The research results found that (1) Accreditation planning at the madrasah aliyah (MA) level was carried out by referring to planning principles and guided by the provisions of the decree (SK) of the Chairman of the National Accreditation Body (BAN). (2) The organization has been carried out by MAN based on the division of duties of each standard coordinator through the Madrasah Head’s Decree regarding the Accreditation team, (3) Systematic implementation of accreditation based on the stages of the Madrasah Accreditation Standard Operational Procedure (POS) and filling in the Accreditation Form Data (DIA). 4) Accreditation evaluations carried out by madrasahs have been carried out through joint evaluation activities and internal audits. (5) The problem of accreditation is that data still needs to be well documented, some teaching staff need to pay more serious attention to accreditation activities, and limited infrastructure is available. Standardized, and there still needs to be madrasa financing. 6) Solutions have been implemented by MAN Katingan, MAN Kapuas and MAN Kotawaringin Timur to resolve the problems that arise from their proportions. In general, this research shows that accreditation management in improving the performance of MAN Katingan, MAN Kapuas and MAN Kotawaringin Timur is implemented based on the Standard Operating Procedures (POS) for implementing School Accreditation, which have been determined by the National Accreditation Board (BAN).

Study Of The Influence Of Safety Leadership, Safety Management, And Safety Culture On Safety Behavior At ExRSBI Vocational Secondary Schools (SMK) In East Jakarta

This research aims to explore the potential contribution of Vocational High Schools (SMK) and other educational institutions to the cultivation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) among the younger generation as prospective workers. This study aims to investigate the impact of safety leadership, safety management, and safety culture on safety behavior at Ex-RSBI Vocational Schools in East Jakarta. The research employs a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design and utilizes path analysis as the analysis technique. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires as a research instrument. Questionnaires were distributed to 170 teachers and education staff as respondents who were selected using proportional random sampling from three former RSBI vocational schools in East Jakarta, namely: SMKN 26, SMKN 48 and SMKN 58 with a confidence level of 95%. The research results indicate that safety leadership has a direct positive effect on safety behavior; Safety management has a direct positive effect on safety behavior; Safety culture also has a direct positive effect on safety behavior; Safety has a direct positive effect on safety management. To improve safety, the following steps should be taken: Enhance safety leadership, Improve safety management, Increase understanding and awareness of safety values, norms, and desired behaviors to establish and maintain a positive safety culture.

What Happens if Tax as a Moderating Variable on Financial Architecture with Firm Value in Indonesia? Jakarta

The main objective of this study is to examine and elucidate the impact of various aspects of financial architecture, including ownership structure, capital structure, and corporate governance, on the value of a company, with tax variables acting as moderators. The research was conducted on a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2022 period, utilizing secondary data sources. Out of the 243 companies considered, a sample of 168 companies was selected due to the availability of complete data. The hypothesis was tested using a regression analysis with the MRA moderating variable in SPSS. The findings of the study reveal that ownership structure and corporate governance have a positive and significant influence on firm value, while capital structure does not affect the company’s value. Additionally, tax plays a significant role in moderating the impact of financial architecture on firm value.

Federal Bank Of America And Central Bank Of Indonesia Policy On Indonesia Bond Prices

 The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of inflation of America and Indonesia, interest rates, the rupiah exchange rate, and the FED effective Fund Rate on Government Bond Price. Research on interest rates and inflation which influence the value of government bonds remains interesting to research considering macro and micro economic conditions are always changing and interconnected. The population and sample of this study is all yield tenors of the benchmark series Government bonds for the period 2016 to 2022. The type of research used in this research is causal type explanatory research which seeks to test the influence between variables in a structural model. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression approach. The results show that Indonesia inflation has strong positive correlation with FED. The FED also has strong positive correlation with Indonesia interest rate. The exchange rate Indonesian Rupiah to American dollar has strong negative correlation with inflation in America. The FED and exchange rate Indonesia rupiah to American dollar have positive impact on the Indonesian Government Bond Price. Interest rates, inflation of America and Indonesia have negative impact on the Indonesian Government Bond price. The explanation contained in the Bank Indonesia newsletter also states that when the foreign exchange reserves are adequate, investors will not rush to divert their funds abroad.
